On February 2, 2020 please join us for our next Friends of Cheakamus First Sunday event from 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM. This will be fun day of hands-on learning about the process of tapping maples and making maple syrup.
Few people realize syrup can be made from the sap of the Bigleaf maple trees that grow in our own backyard. Executive Chef Wade Rowland will give an informative talk on the process, and then lead an interactive outdoor demonstration of how to tap.
